Started editing music sequences

We used Adobe Premiere to edit the videos we recorded for the our music video. Firstly we transfered the videos from the camera on to the Apple mac. We went through each individual video and decided what scenes we wanted to use taking into consideration the quality angles and movement. From there we opened the videos into Adobe Premiere.

Me and Sonya are looking at the videos to see what parts to edit

This is me telling Sonya which parts i think we should erase

Mel, Zarah, Sonya and Saira are watching Vanessas part to see that it fits in well

We started editing the classroom scene which is the first scene in the music video. In the first sequence of the video the music does not play so we had to make sure it was not too long other wise it could get the audience bored. In the first scene the four girls are sitting in the classroom drifting off into their dreams about Ally. Our main focus was showing a wide shot of the girls sitting in the classroom and then dreaming  whilst the teacher is talking. We used the shot of where the camera is following each girl individually as this focuses on how each girl is feeling at that moment. Editing this scene was pretty straight forward as there was no music to synchronise with the video.
