Today we started filming our music video. The first shooting we did was of Sonya in her location which is Priory place. We did a practice shoot first so we knew which way to pan the cameras and what shots to use. This also gave Sonya a chance to practise miming to see if she can mime in timing with the music. In the first shot we got distracted by people walking past, but eventually after a few takes we captured a good shot of Sonya miming and getting into her character.

In the picture above me (Sarah) and Zarah are checking that the cameras work as we carried out a practice shot to ensure they were in the correct position to record Sonya.

In the above picture I am recording Sonya using a camera on a tripod. The tripod allowed me to track Sonya when she was moving aroung the scene so I could capture her singing throughout her part.

This picture shows Zarah recording Sonya from a different angle using a hand held camera as she was focusing on close-up shots.
The two pictures above show Sonya shooting her scene. She is miming to the song and expressing her character as she is showing her feelings of being with Ally (the boy she likes). Sonya is wearing casual clothes and the colour green which she is representing in the music video.
